They are based on the ancient animals that lived during the Ice Age, and are easily recognizable by their distinct appearance. The Ground Sloth in AdoptMe! has uniquely textured fur that is light brown with dark brown patches. They have a long tail and sharp claws on each of their four feet. Their big eyes and small ears give them an adorable, endearing expression. What's interesting about the Ground Sloth is that they were actually massive creatures in real life. They could grow up to 20 feet long and weighed as much as 4 tons! Despite their size, they were herbivores and moved slowly, mostly using their long arms to grab leaves and branches.
